With a cup of tea, we approach and reach you who are living in the same world simultaneously. You may come from any country, race, region; you may believe in any religion, Christian, Buddhism or Islam. For us, a cup of tea with you is a cup of nature, a cup of harmony, a cup of humanity, in the end, a cup of Zen.

The absolute freedom of the contemporary art is just like the core of Zen, direct to our heart and wisdom.  An artist, in another sense, is also a Zen master who reaches and expresses the hidden truths of our world. Thus we, as artists, mix ourselves into this colourful world, facing the realities of human beings and their spiritual pursuit. Based on London (Dingzi) and Antwerp (Yizi), combining and comparing two zones of ideology, China and Europe, we build up our Zen structure through a cup of tea. Each cup of tea is a unique one; each TALK is a different occurrence, both in time and space, though we have created many of them in the last few years. Such a flow and encounter of thought and inspiration shows the vivid panorama of our human spirit and heart lives.

With our cup of tea, we also hope to extend the concept of contemporary art to a much broader meaning – for every living being, in every corner of the space. Tea is totally free out of the tea room.

It happens in busy city centres, quiet lonely forests, beside computers, in the sky, in my eyes or even in your stomach, everywhere. Thus, we start our project TALK 1+99
